I purchased the shaggy angora goat on the wood mount for a gift for my neice. Loved how the wood grain comes through on the print. Excellent purchase! Would definitely purchase again.

This looks gorgeous printed on wood. It is now hanging on my therapy office wall and is perfect. The color is true to the photo. I love it.
Artist's Description
The wolf comes as a reminder that this physical universe is based upon the principal of duality. Night & day, birth & death, happiness & sadness. Conditions are always alternating. Everyone will have to go through the fire to the limit. Cultivate equanimity, it takes you towards the expansiveness of the soul and away from the separateness of the ego.
About Brian Commerford
My work expresses the spiritual qualities of the animals and birds by means of composition, color, and brushwork. As I paint, I try to create a vibrational stamp that reflects whatever spiritual quality or qualities that I'm trying to express in that particular piece. I use a lot of close-ups because I want a fairly intense experience, such as gentleness, joy, and love, to be felt by the onlooker. I received my art education in California at the California College of Arts & Crafts and Sonoma State University, where I received a B.A. in Art Studio. I follow the teachings of Yogi Parmahansa Yogananda, and share an interest in the Native American medicine of the animals. My studio is open by appointment, call on Thursday 5 -6...

Beautifully written description, Brian. So wise, and so true. Your image calls to mind one of my favorite things about our Samoyeds, Sadie, and her aunt, our Vickie. They were beautiful dogs, somewhat like very fuzzy white wolves in appearance. And how they did love to do their own version of a howl. Your beauty here is the exact vision ... head back, eyes alert and out comes that voice!!! A great reminder of our great companions. Much loved, much missed ... l/f and t

Rosemary Mazzulla
Hi. I am William Mazzulla III. My wife Rosemary is more of the artist so she is the member here. Once in a while I play around with simple Digital art. Anyway, onto your wonderful Wolf Howling painiting. When I was a pre-teen my Dad took home a dog that was part German shepherd and part Alaskan Malmute, Duke. Dad got a sled harness for the dog, Duke and with 2 or 3 of us kids sitting on our regular sled and Dad calling we would go flying a few hundred feet. Great fun! Anyway when the Noontime testing of emergency sirens would go off in our small town, if Duke was outside on a chain run then he would howl like a wolf until the sirens stopped. Duke's fur was more white and black then your wolf but your Howling Wolf painting reminded me of Duke and the fun he gave us. Thank You.

Congratulations on your sale of the print of this beautiful wolf painthing, Brian! I'm so glad about it because it brought me to your gallery! Wow! And thank you for sharing these with all of us. What amazing paintings of cats, the S.W. USA wildlife, sunrises/sunsets, and motercycles! Wonderful combination of specializations! I really appreciate your knowledge of using the color blue. Probably you know that wolves are under special "attacks" in a number of states now because of the loss of protective status. With your love wolves and of other animals, are you ever any interested in nature "action" sites? (petitions, blogs, etc.). I spend a bunch of time with them (most prevelant right now are for wolves and Canadian seals). I hope it is not inappropriate to ask (I'm not selling anything!) if you would be interested at looking at a site that compiles numerous such organizations conveniently at one url? I will gladly send you a link, because I believe that web petitioning actions do actually help causes as well as educating people to the need for treating all of nature respectfully. Meanwhile, thank you again for creating and sharing so much of your obvious intensely spiritual love of these beautiful animals, and motorcycles! Peace, etc., Bruce Combs
